Bands with recorders sound very pretty. There are a couple of different ways to play music in the recorder band. One way is for everyone to have the same type of recorder and to play the same notes together. Another way is to have some of the soprano recorders play the melody and the rest to play the harmony. There are also alto and tenor recorders and they can be added as well. Whatever way is chosen, the music will sound very pretty if played by skilled musicians.
There can be recorder bands made up of children, or , they can be made up of both children and adults. Some times it is better to have the group made up of children that are in the same age range.
